• My end of semester recital performance took place on the 12th. Gretchen (soprano), Lesley (soprano), and Erik (tenor) were my singers, while a graduate student composer by the name of Matt Frey played piano on a piece I wrote called Waiting. My performers were supposed to go on towards the beginning of the second half of the night, but the tech people had problems with my backing track, so my piece was moved back by one or two performances. In the end, however, the performance went well.

• My residency at LEMUR culminated in a performance. Waiting went well, with Gretchen, Remi, and I pulling it off quite nicely. The Fear of Art was very different to how I've performed that in the past, as the GuitarBot added a very unique orchestration element to the piece. Always There, however, was a disaster. Remi hadn't practiced the piece, thinking that he could pull it off by sight reading the music. I don't think he counted on the syncopation of the piece, and that threw him off, which threw me off.
